About this policy
This policy describes how GPTZero Humanizer at gptzerohumanizer.com processes information when you visit the website or submit text for rewriting.
Text you submit
When you select “Humanize text,” your text is sent to our server and then to Google’s Gemini API to generate a rewrite. The application does not maintain a database of your submissions, save a rewrite history, or intentionally log your text or results. Text is processed temporarily to complete your request.
Do not submit passwords, API keys, payment information, or sensitive or confidential information. Only submit text you are authorized to share with the service.
Service providers
Google processes submitted text and generated responses under its own service terms. Its retention and use of data depend on the API service, account settings, and applicable terms. We do not promise that provider processing is anonymous or subject to zero retention. See Google’s Gemini API terms and Google’s Privacy Policy.
The website may be hosted on Vercel or Cloudflare. Hosting providers process technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, including IP addresses, request times, URLs, and error information. Their processing and retention are governed by their applicable policies: Vercel Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Technical information and rate limits
We use IP-based request counters to limit abuse and protect availability. In the Vercel and local server versions, counters are held in application memory and expire after approximately one minute. Cloudflare hosting uses its rate-limiting service. Operational logs may include error types and provider HTTP status codes. Our application does not intentionally include submitted text or API keys in those logs.
Cookies and browser storage
The application does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or cookies, and does not save submitted text in browser storage. Hosting authentication or security services may use cookies or similar technologies. Text remains in the current page until it is cleared or the page is closed or refreshed. Selecting “Copy text” places the result on your device’s clipboard.
External websites
Links to GPThumanizer.io and other websites take you to separate services with their own privacy policies and terms. Clicking a link does not submit your editor text to that website.
Your choices
You can use the website without creating an account. You can clear the editor at any time, choose not to submit text, and manage browser cookies and clipboard contents through your device. Clearing the editor does not delete data already processed or retained by a service provider. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
